WHY AUDIT?

WHAT IS AUDITED?

A number of things come under scrutiny in our audit and they can vary depending on the level of audit required. Our audits are tailored to suit your industry specific or site specific needs and for this reason there is no standard price list. At a minimum every Australian Fire & First Aid Fire Safety Audit includes a site visit by one of our technical fire experts who will audit the following:

PORTABLE FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT

Type, number, location, service history & compliance with current standards.

OTHER SAFETY EQUIPMENT

As above for emergency lighting, exit signs, smoke detectors, alarms, fire panels and evacuation diagrams.

FIRE HAZARDS

A full list of any hazards that may be present and solutions where applicable.

TRAINING

Number of staff, appropriateness of qualification, compliance with current standards

COMPLIANCE

The Building Code of Australia, AS3745-2010 planning for emergencies in facilities and AS 1851-2005 maintenance of fire protection systems and equipment and other relevant standards and codes.

LEVEL 2 AND 3 AUDITS

Varying degrees of audits are available including a full service level 3 audit which includes but is not limited to:

Review of policies, processes and procedures

Interviews with key personnel

Testing of training, equipment, policies, procedures

Observations of the entity undertaking normal business practices at the site

Analysis of fire safety KPI’s and data

Review of site safety records management

Evidence of ECO meetings, minutes and outcomes

Review of compliance with building plans, instructions, licences and permits
