Safety Equipment Audit

Are you unsure if you need a Fire Extinguisher in your work premises?

Not sure how many trained First Aid Officers you need?

Does my computer have to be tagged and tested?

There are hundreds of rules and regulations relating to the type and style of emergency safety equipment, how much you need, how often it has to be maintained, how it has to be maintained and so on. At Australian Fire & First Aid we will happily visit your site and conduct an audit of all available equipment on site and provide you with a written report.

Written Report Includes

Location and type of all emergency safety equipment (First aid kits, stretchers, portable fire fighting equipment, alarms, detectors etc)

Assessment of location suitability (Is the equipment correctly installed and suitably located?)

Advise regarding correct type and numbers of equipment required for your site (Do you need more or less or a different type of equipment?)

Suggestions for other factors which may prohibit effective emergency response

Advise and evidence of maintenance to emergency equipment (Have your extinguishers been serviced? Is your first aid kit stocked?)

Other site or industry specific evaluation can be undertaken by negotiation.

Please note this is not a comprehensive OHS safety audit, this service does not include testing or review of your policies, procedures or other aspects of site safety other than those mentioned above. OHS (WHS Compliance) Safety Audits will become available in 2012.
