Remote first aid is a course designed for those who live or work in remote areas where emergency medical assistance is not readily available. Delivered over a 2 day face to face course (2 days x 7 hours plus breaks) in addition to extra medical training Remote First Aid covers a variety of relevant legislation, Australian Standards and legal requirements. For those studying and already employed in the field of Education a new course has replaced the previous requirement of Basic first aid also known as BELS. The new course also includes full training in Asthma and Anaphylaxis management in addition to CPR and basic life support.
