Chief Fire Warden is designed for those who have been selected to lead their organisation in an emergency evacuation or invacuation scenario, and is a requirement under AS3745-2010 (Planning for Emergencies in Facilities) for Chief Wardens and Deputy Chief Wardens. The full day training course combines both the ‘Operate as part of an emergency control organisation’ and ‘Confine small workplace emergencies’ nationally accredited units. Chief Warden for those with current prerequisite qualifications is also available.
The role of Chief Warden and Deputy Chief Warden is often a volunteer role but should not be assigned lighty. This person will be in charge of making split second decisions during emergency situations to protect your team and assets as much as possible.
