Our Mission

Our mission is to provide safety and training services to Australian businesses that exceed WHS and compliance standards.

Since 2009 Australian Fire & First Aid has been providing tailored corporate training and safety solutions across Australia and South East Asia. From our humble beginnings in the McLaren Vale wine region of South Australia to the Timor Sea, we quickly emerged as a leader in the field.

Our whole company approach to WHS and training ensures that you never again waste your money on stand alone training or safety services. Tailoring is much more than putting your logo on a powerpoint. From the smallest of First Aid courses to large scale projects, we ensure that all of your compliance and safety obligations are being met, not only during and after incidents but in the times in-between where complacency can creep in .

We deliver above and beyond national standards. The units included in course codes are the minimum educational requirements for each course. Other training organisations mistakenly assume that is the only course units you can deliver. At Australian Fire and First Aid we have access to dozens of units from other courses that we deliver. In addition we have in-house units developed in conjunction with Doctors, Dentists. Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Sports Trainers, WHS Auditors and Emergency Services Professionals. If we believe your industry, or location, needs an additional unit of competency, we include it at no extra charge.

Our sales team and account managers have qualifications in Work, Health and Safety. This is to ensure that we are providing you with the right advice on training, and legislative safety requirements, for your industry.

Our trainers have a wide variety of work and life experiences, from Childcare Centres to Emergency Services. We pair your business with a trainer who has lived experience in a similar industry to yours. Your trainer will be responsible for delivering all the training courses and services your business requires, this ensures they have a full understanding of your company’s safety goals. Our account managers and trainers become valued members of your safety team, who are available for consultation at anytime.

In 2009 our founders recognised the disconnect between training being delivered and the legislative requirements of those practically applying that training in the workplace. Often leaving employees and employers at risk of WHS breaches and penalties. Not out of deliberate negligence or misconduct, but because they were simply under informed. Our founders backgrounds in auditing, corporate compliance, WHS, training and emergency services allowed us to see the whole picture and create a solution for this gap in the market. Initially designed for SMEs, we incorrectly believed that large organisations would have the financial capacity to hire people to do safety roles thoroughly. We quickly realised that whilst the right people where employed, that organisational structures hindered the flow of information between departments, they needed our skills as much, if not more, than SMEs.
