Nationally accredited course code HLTAID011
Provide First Aid is the most commonly delivered First Aid Course in Australia, the link above will take you to Training.gov.au to show you the nationally accredited course code units.

At Australian Fire and First Aid we don’t see the units in the nationally accredited course code as the whole story. It’s just the beginning. As a standard inclusion, our team will tailor your course to be specific to your industry, worksite and/or location, by either expanding upon existing units to provide more in depth training, or providing additional units of knowledge from other courses, or our in-house units. We use industry experience, local knowledge, industry statistics and your common experiences, to determine which additional units may be needed. Our greatest resource is you, our customer.
Examples of this include:
Additional study of frostbite, wind burn, eye injuries and clearing eye debris for workers on a wind farm in regional Victoria who were experiencing these issues when climbing the wind turbines..
Additional study of slip and fall injuries, panic attacks and heart complaints for a supermarket in country SA that had new floor installed and a nursing home adjacent (incidents had occurred)

What happens when the first aid is done? You’d be mistaken for thinking the work is done when the first aid kit is packed up, if you’ve ever attended a course with a volunteer ambulance organisation. The reality is that first aid in most instances, is delivered to someone you know, in an accident you have been present for, not a mystery stranger you happen to drive past.
At work, sport or volunteering there will be a number of reports and tasks that need to be attended to post incident. Those reports and tasks, are unique to your organisation. It is not uncommon that your organisation has never be made aware of these, or addressed whose role and responsibility they are. Our team will help you to review or develop your post incident protocols as a standard customer inclusion. These protocols are delivered as the final unit of education when delivering your Provide First Aid Course.
If you’re ready for your team to get the comprehensive training they deserve that covers all aspects of corporate first aid repsonsinilits, contact our customer service team and make a time to talk to one of our experts.
*Provide first aid may not be the correct unit of competency for your workplace, our team can advise you of the most suitable first aid training for your role or industry.
